RiRi x Vivi

If any of you caught the VSFS last night, you know that one of the biggest showstoppers was Rihanna’s performance  wardrobe.  The starlet added some couture details to her seductive black Vivienne Westwood satin corset/skirt combo via a chunky pearl choker and vintage Chanel sunglasses.

After the show, Rihanna posted from her trailer,  And that’s a wrizzap

Staying true to her persona, she amped up her sex appeal with some dramatic long lace Opera gloves that contrasted her a thigh high slit, revealing her garter, suspenders, & stockings…MEOW!

But going back to those round frames, these vintage Chanel babies are no joke.  The rare designer shades first appeared on the Chanel spring runway in 1994, and is currently for sale for a cool $3,200.
Would you rock these shades if you had the money?  If so, you can buy them here.

Now I just have to find some more details on this lace number, which she rocked with a jumper tied around her waist (again on point with the tied-around-the-waist trend).  I think we will be seeing more of this in her collaboration with River Island.

Can you tell that this outfit was thrown together right before the show?

Reports came out that Adam Selman, fashion designer for Vogue UK, created both of Rihanna’s costumes for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, and explained how he created the costumes in just two hours:
“I’d been working on something for a while, but it didn’t look right when she tried it on two-and-a-half hours before the show,” Selman said. “So I ran, literally ran, back to my office from the venue. I had my assistants on the phone telling them to run out and buy fabric — it was a bit of a challenge, but we did it.”
“I got to her minutes before everything kicked off, she whipped it on and threw a jumper round her waist and stepped out. She has the confidence to do that — she killed it.”
Do you think RiRi killed her outfits?
