north shore and more

 
more coastal driving means more shrimp truckin’
 
 
the Dole plantation (established in 1900) was an amazing stop along the historic Wahiawa Town with many fresh fruits (think pineapples, coconuts, mangos) for sale.
 
 
I choose some ripe mangos, while my bf had something similar to the Dole Whip, consisting of cold ice cream and freshly diced pineapples - making for a simply delightful treat :)

We were told that we had to stop by Matsumoto: one of many shaved ice places throughout the Hawaii, but oftentimes referred to as the best <3
